Our organization is seeking a skilled Operations Technician I for our Jicarilla gathering team located in the southern part of our gathering system. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate, maintain, and repair selected gas gathering systems. The gas gathering systems include dehydration, separation, measurement, cathodic protection, etc

Responsibilities:
Locate and remove freezes in equipment
Insure facilities are operating in a reliable, safe, and efficient manner within Williams' System Integrity Plan (SIP) guidelines
Regularly performs a wide spectrum of non-routine, high-complexity assignments requiring technical evaluation, innovation, and judgment.
Participate in data gathering, reporting functions, plant start-ups, plant shut downs, maintenance tasks and assist in justifying future projects.
Able to apply fundamental economic evaluations and to present recommendations.
Submit Development Plan to map development opportunities that match career aspirations and the needs of the company.
Have the ability to work under limited supervision as needed.
Maintains confidentialities, while demonstrating professional conduct and good business ethics
Supervise the work efforts of maintenance crews of William's employees and outside contractors

Qualifications:
A successful candidate will:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Mininum 1-2 years related experience
Understand the gas gathering processing systems and the critical control parameters
Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess adequate PC skills.
Support instrumentation and control activities associated with turbines, compressors, and amine measurement systems to ensure balances are within the established limits.
Demonstrate proficiency in leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, communication and mentoring skills.
Able to apply fundamental economic evaluations and to present recommendations.
A successful candidate may:
Possess an Associates' degree in Mechanics, Instrumentation, Control Technology, or Electronics
Previously obtained experience with gas gathering or similar role is preferred, but not required
